Been with you guys long time now but not been on forum for a while. was wondering im running version 6.0.5 can I upgrade straight up to the newer latest version.

Is this fully compliant now with the new code 4 of the iet that has been out.

And of course whats the costs involved. from 6 to 7.

Hi Duane

If you are running version 6.0.5. there is a free update to the last version of SimplyPats 6.1.2

You can read of the additions and fixes in the links below which will also link you to the downloads

viewforum.php?f=44

However this doesn't contain the IET Code of Practice 4th edition changes, which were added to SimplyPats Version 7.

I'm not sure whether you have the downloading version or manual entry only version of SimplyPats. If you download from your PAT tester to the PC you will need the following link to purchase Version 7 (current prices are shown on the links):

http://www.simplypats.co.uk/shop_upgrade_step3_v6.html

If you have the manual only version

http://www.simplypats.co.uk/shop_upgrad ... ition.html

One of the main features of version 7 is it reflects the IET Code of Practice 4th Edition. There are many more additional features which can be read in the links below:

viewtopic.php?f=59&t=828

and of course as Version 7 is our current release, the free updates containing more additions and fixes are listed in the links here:

viewforum.php?f=65

If you decide to purchase an upgrade over the holiday period we will try and get the download to you asap however there may be a short delay.

If you have any further questions please do not hesitate to post on here.

Regards, Richard.

Hi Duane

I can see that Richard has covered the upgrade options and pricing, however please feel free to give us a call after the Easter Holidays if you would like to discuss anything further.
