Future releases of SimplyPats will see the addition of another feature commonly requested by our users, the ability to add or remove various data columns on the SimplyPats Main Screen.

In the screen shot below you will see the main data grid can now include the following columns;

Class of Item
Fuse Rating
User (who carried out the testing)
Appliance Serial Number
Fail Reason
Notes

Recent versions of SimplyPats have always displayed Class of Item, Fuse Rating, User (who carried out the testing), Appliance Serial Number, Fail Reason and Notes in the centre right hand window on the main screen, the information would update as you clicked on each appliance in the main grid.

Adding this data to the main grid not only gives are far better visual overview but expands on the options available when it comes to Sorting and/or Grouping data. As an example, users can now easily group data by the User that carried out the testing or by Class of Appliance.

The ability to turn off Data Columns on the Main Grid will also help in instances where you may want to focus on certain information by cutting down on “screen clutter” Adding columns to the Main Screen will have the opposite effect by increasing the amount of data available to the user.

Columns can be turned On or Off by using the “Show Columns” options on the “Settings” > “System Settings” screen under the “Main Screen” Tab (shown Below).
