Would it be possible to have a one page per appliance report with the full history of results shown on it, so if the appliance has been tested 6 times, all 6 results are shown as a table similar to the v2 appliance to a page but with both results underneath

Hi John

Thanks for the post, we will look into this for you and see if it is possible.

How are you storing the results, in the same data file or in seperate data files? I presume that you are using unique Appliance Id's for every single appliance you have tested?

Regards Carl

the appliance ID's are the same each year but each appliance has its own number.

They will be stored in the same file.

Hi John

If the Appliances are in the same file, you already have the option to print just those Appliances on one of the existing PAT Reports available.

Sort the Appliances by Appliance Id or use the Group feature.
Left Mouse click on the first Appliance to highlight it.
Hold down the Shift Key on your Keyboard and Left Mouse Click on the last Appliance of the same Appliance Id. The idea here is to select all of the Appliances that you want to print out.
When you now click on File > Print Results, SimplyPats will tell you that you are about to print just the Appliances that you have selected.
On the Print Results screen, select the PAT Report that you use.

Hope this helps, if you have any further questions or it does not do what you expect or require, please add to this thread.

Also, instead of pressing and holding down the Shift key, you can choose to press and hold the Ctrl key while Left Mouse Clicking on the Appliances that you want to select, this is handy if they are not grouped together.

Regards Carl

Hi Carl,

It was the additional appliance information that appeared on the one appliance per page report that i wanted to keep, re-test period, fuse, serial number etc

then underneath the results for each year rather than just the current year in a similar tabulated form to the one page per appliance report.

__________continuity......isolation......ect
Limit......... 0.1
6/2008.......0.04...... etc
6/2009.......0.05.........
6/2010.......0.05........

hope this is a bit clearer

Hi John

I think i have an idea of what you are referring to, however is it possible for you to mock an example up as a PDF (maybe edit one of the existing reports in a paint package) or word etc.

Just attach the example to an email and send it to support and we will certainly look at coming up with a solution if at all possible.

Regards Carl
