Fuse size

Postby Boswell » Fri Jul 23, 2010 11:49 am

Any chance of including a fuse size of N/A ?
I know there is a blank but it will differentiate between forgetting to fill in the field and there being no fuse required. It's for 5/15A round pin items.

Recording Fuse Values

Postby richard » Fri Jul 23, 2010 4:32 pm

Hi Boswell, thanks for the post.

I will try and have a look at this - Im not sure how easy this will be to implement, just depends on how I have set the code up. Off the top of my head - if I have allowed the entry of a blank, almost certainly it will allow entry of another option e.g. NA

Will post back once I've had a delve.

Regards, Richard.

Thanks Richard, Just doing the testing of the theatre lights and they are all on 5/15A round pin, that's how the problem came up.

Hi Boswell,

Just had a look at that and added an N/A option - I haven't done any real testing on it so Im not sure what additional undocumented design features (BUGS) it might introduce ;)

I will do some more testing on it over the weekend or monday, also I think it may need to be added into the Bulk Change Screen and the Bulk Change Selection screen.

However - it looks promising, as soon as I have it sorted you can have a beta build to try out, or wait for the relase of 6.0.2.

regards, Richard

Thanks Richard, Don't see much need for it in bulk change, but then again I have not needed to use bulk change at all !

Hi Boswell

I have done a bit more testing on the NA option which is now available on the appliance fuse drop down. I have also added the same NA option to the Bulk Change Screen and Bulk Change Selection screen. I know you said you didn't do alot of bulk changing hwoever for any other users it might prove useful.

This option will be available under the next release 6.0.2 which I hope to have out within the next month..... however let me know if you want a beta copy of 6.0.2 with this feature in and I'll ask Carl to emil you a link where you can download it.

Regards, Richard.
