Download Utility Doesn't Automatically Load SimplyPats with the data.

In the last couple of we have encountered a problem when using the SimplyPats download utility. After download the feature that automatically starts SimplyPats with the data loaded has stopped working. The PAT downloads normally and you can manually open the saved data file in SimplyPats.

This was happening on a Vista PC but also was repeatable on a Windows 7 32 bit version PC and a Windows 7 64 bit version PC.

A command in the SimplyPats download utility calls the automatic opening of SimplyPats and for some reason has stopped working, I believe after recent Windows updates and changes to the security features of windows the command I am using has been prevented from working.

I have rewritten the download utility to hopefully get around this issue.

Please contact us if you need an updated download utilty.

(The dowboad utility is available to provide support for some of the older PAT testers such as the Metrohm MPAT60, Seaward 1000 range etc. It also provides support for testers such as the Seaward Primetest 300 and Primetest 350)

Hi Leon,

No problem, I'll ask Carl to email you a link first thing on Monday so that you can download it from the web. There is also a document explaining how to use the utility with the Primetest 300/350 and I'll get Carl to forward that to you at the same time.

If you get a chance, please let us know how you get on.

Regards, Richard.
