Hello

I am trying to create an invoice and give my client a 10% discount. It is only discounting the tests even then the discount tests only box is unticked.

Please advise
Neil

Hi Neil

First of all please check which version of SimplyPats 6 you are running, Form the Help Menu, Select About SimplyPats... This should bring up the About SimplyPats screen and show which version you are on.

If it is less than 6.1.1 then you can upgrade from the forum by following this link:

Regarding invoicing and discounting I am not aware of fixing an issue recently, however will double check that it is working ok.

After entering a discount are you clicking on the ReCalc button to recalculate the invoice?

The discount should be applied to everything in your invoice including any extra charges unless you select the tests only box (which will then just discount any test charge codes).

If we can't get to the bottom of it, maybe you could phone us so that we can dial into your PC and see exactly what is happening.

Regards, Richard.

Hi.

Thanks for the reply. Im running the latest version. I wasn't totally correct with my first post just tried what you said. When you put in 10%discount it only gives 5% and completely ignores any extra charges.

Will call you over the next few days

Neil

Hi Neil

Sounds very odd. I asked one of the guys to check out the Invoicing today and they couldn't seem to find anything obvious, however maybe if you can call us over the next few days we can dial in and see what's going wrong.

Regards, Richard.
