At present there does not appear to be provision to record RCD test results after test have been carried out. Is there any thoughts on adding this feature for downloadable RCD Testers or manually adding the data into Simply Pats.

Hello Clive and welcome to the forum, sorry for the delay in answering your post.

Which PAT Tester are you using?

The provision to add or record RCD Test Results is something that we are investigating and have so far added in Version 5.2.7 if using the TRIO Smartcal SafeTcheck Pro Logger II Tester.

Other Testers and the ability to manually enter RCD Test data may be added in the future, however this will involve some major development, something perhaps Richard can explain in more detail.

Regards Carl

At present I use a Megger 335 Downloadable RCD Tester but a facility for manual entry to record the data may be something for future development

Kind regards
Clive

Hi Clive

Just thought Id give you an update on this topic. A couple of the latest PAT testers enable you to carry out RCD tests, and as such I am going to add the ability for SimplyPats to store RCD test results. I havent quite worked out a method of data entry for those people that have a downloading PAT tester but a manual RCD tester as opposed to one of the PAT testers that do RCD tests.

However I am including the ability to store Microwave tests which will also need to be manually entrered, they will therefore both have to follow the same lines.

Please see this topic for more info:
