** EDIT SimplyPats V6.0.6 now supports upload to the Megger PAT 400 Series of Testers, please see the following link viewtopic.php?f=21&t=673 for further information **

Uploading Data back To The Megger PAT420

Whilst SimplyPats can import the CSV output of the Megger PAT420 and PAT450 Testers, we have been focussing our attention on taking data from SimplyPats and 'uploading' it back to the Megger 400 Series testers.

Lorna and I have been working on the code and it's looking promising that we should have a solution (maybe in time for the next update of SimplyPats due later this month or early may.)

Fortunately our task has been helped by the logical manner in which Megger store the data in the PAT400 Series testers.

There maybe a few limitations on what is possible to upload and some considerations especially with the Group Code Settings (Megger test code settings) that are being uploaded.

Richard.

Just an update to this thread.

Lorna and I have made some progress on the code necessary to upload data back to the Megger PAT400 series.

We have a couple of SimplyPats user's locally who both use Megger PAT420's so we they will be beta testing the upload function back to the tester.

All being well, we hope to include this upload feature in the next SimplyPats free upgrade 6.0.6 due in March or April this year.

Please let us know if you would like a beta version of 6.0.6 after we have had a chance to do some initial testing.

Regards, Richard.

Hi Rich/Lorna

Great to see you have made progress with the upload part of the Megger 400 series, and I would love to trial your beta version. If required I will be available to carry out some initial testing for this latest feature of this superb software if required.

Cheers
Steve.
