Hi,
We've just got a shiny new PAT420 :)
And SimplyPats V7 :D

I've tested a couple of bits, and I'm playing with the export/import features, before I roll it out to the rest of the department.
I have 2 Asset ID's, DH00001, DH01501.
DH01501 - Has three tests and all three tests were performed one after another
DH00001 - Has one Test, and was tested Last

There are 4 Records showing on the Home screen. In the View Data, I can select either of the two asset ID's and see the last test (not sure if there is a way to view previous tests)

When I export to CSV file, I only get the first 3 tests, not the 4th (DH00001).

Any Thoughts?

Thanks

Dave

Hi Dave

Could you send your Simplypats Data file to our support email so that we can see what you are trying to export.

Once I have had a look I will post back.

Regards, Richard.

Hi Dave

If you get a bounce back from your email can you please send the pat file again. We had blocked some attachments which might have caused your email to be rejected. We have now removed the attachment blocking.

Regards, Richard

Hi Dave

Thanks, I have now received your files and checked the CSV output file from the Megger 420. This only contains 3 tests, all with Asset Id DH01501.

You can check this by double clicking the DH.CSV file and opening it in MS Excel (if you dont have excel, you can change the file extension to .txt and open it in notepad)

In Excel, the asset Id column is column T.

So not really sure why the asset DH00001 which you thought you had tested doesn't appear. The Megger may not output the test if there are no test results whith it, i.e. you have entered asset details but not performed any tests on that asset?

Regards, Richard

Hi Richard,
Thanks for that, I was fairly sure that it was a Megger Problem.
I've not tested a third unique ID, so have 5 bits of data.
Export this and they all are there including record 4.
Something is a bit strange, so I'll have to keep an eye on it.

Thanks

Dave

No Problems Dave,

definitely a good idea to do some beta testing around the office or home before rolling out on a big job!

If you have any issues or need any help please get in touch,

Regards, Richard.
