Hi

Does anyone know if the seaward lt100 extension tester is compatible with martindale micropat+ pat tester?
The reason i ask is i have purchased a second hand lt100 but when i run it through the auto test it fails every time on insuation test when the lt100 is connected , should the lt100 pass an insulation test or is it faulty???
thanks

I was unable to find much info about the Seaward LT100 however I believe they were designed for a similar purpose with Seawards Discontinued PAT 1000S and similar.

Not sure about the Seaward LT100 being compatible. I know that Martindale Produce the Martindale LTDV Extension Lead Tester used in conjunction with the MicroPat Plus.

If you check the link below there is a photo showing the LTDV accessory with the the MicroPat Plus

Have you definitely got a Seaward LT100? Seaward seem to currently do two models of LT1000, one for 110V leads and the second for IEC leads for use with their older range of testers, however i don't think they were desinged to work with the MicroPat Plus.

hI
yes it is the seaward LT1000 RS No 203-833
This is an extension lead tester given to me , didnt want to splash out on the martindale one , for what its worth..
Just thought the LT1000 would do the same thing as martindale one..

Cant see a reason why it would fail an insulation resistance test or is it just not meant to run an insulation test does it pass the insulation resistance test on the seaward pat testers????

will do every test fine apart from insulation resistance where it fails every time

Thanks

Darren
