Hi
We are currently moving over from Seaward Europa Plus to Primetest 350. We have been using Simplypats V5 for 3 years due to it's ease of global changes and report presentation. The SimplyPats download utility allows us to download the Primetest 350, but we find that when trying to import a europa Plus file into the 350 pat file we get the following "Can only Import files from the same tester" As usual !!!! Carl & Richard are looking into this !

Cheers
Alan

Hi Alan, thanks for your post.

I have now received the example Europa Plus and Primetest 350 files from you and will have a look at merging them.

Thanks also for taking the time to post on here as well as your phone conversation with Carl this morning. When support issues are posted on here I can keep track of any outstanding issues I need to address. Also it may be of benefit to other users who may have similar issues.

Regards, Richard.

Hi Alan

I have managed to have a look at this issue and refreshed my memory about importing files created by different PAT testers.

I had already relaxed the stop of merging files from different PAT testers in SimplyPats Version 6. However I have copied that code into a copy of SimplyPats Version 5.2.9. and will ask Carl to send you a new build of 5.2.9.

Obviously we prefer not to amend older copies of code, however if and when you upgrade to SimplyPats Version 6 at least you know this feature will already have been addressed.

Regards, Richard.

Hi Richard,Carl

What a response, sorted in less than 2 hours !!!!
This feature works really well and is ideal for users moving between Primetest 350 & Europa Plus !
It also allows old Europas to be used as a backup if needed.
Brilliant feature !
Just one question, when I select print there is a box that says Iain Pryce next to "Custom Report loaded"
Not sure what this is !

Thanks again for a swift response.
Cheers
Alan

Hi Alan

Many thanks for the response, glad that this appears to be working for you. Many apologies for the "New Feature"!!!!! The Iain button that appears on the print screen was a quick fix I did for one of our customers to help them sort something out. I will remove this and ask Carl to send you another updated executeable.

Its been a hectic day, Im pleased to say with alot of sales, so glad that we managed to resolve this issue and get you up and running quickly.

Regards, Richard.

Hi Richard

Many Thanks, must say again how much this will help, otherwise Engineers can only be paired ie PT350 or Europa.
Would have been a BIG headache until we transferred over completely.

Glad you are busy, will upgrade to V6 in April

Best Regards
Alan
