HI,

Can anyone help me, I have purchased a new Metrel MI3309, all is good and very happy with it, it the software I am having an issue with.

When I download data from machine to laptop all is good, when I create a report its shows test dat and re test date as 30.12.99 on the report, Date on the tester is set correctly, date on the laptop is set correctly, why does it select 30.12.99 when it asks me for a retest date on the tester after completing a test ? I'm confused.

Thanks for your help in advance.

Tony

Hi Tony

As you probably aware this forum is managed by SimplyPats and so questions are usually about our software.

Whilst I have not used the Metrel PAT Link software a couple of suggestions I can think of:

1) Are you sure you are running the latest version of the software? If you installed via CD I think you can download updates from their website.

2) When entering a retest period on the MI3309 are you just entering a numeric value e.g. 6, 12, 24 etc. I know our software will ignore text such as 6 months, 12M etc.

If you are really stuck I can fire up our MI3309 and a copy of Metrel PAT Link and check the issue you are having.

Regards, Richard.
